NCPA National Championship Taking Place This Weekend

by Erik Tice on

This weekend the National Collegiate Pickleball Association (NCPA) National Championships are happening in San Diego. The tournament is taking place at The Hub, which has 26 permanent pickleball courts.

The event will be livestreamed on USA Today Sports all three days from noon to 9 p.m. ET.

Many of the top college club teams from around the country are participating. The tournament has singles, gender doubles, and mixed doubles. There are two divisions, D1 and D2. Each college or university club is allowed to send one team to play in the D1 bracket. Schools can send multiple teams to play in the D2 bracket.

There is $30,000 in scholarship money on the line this weekend as well, so there is plenty of motivation for these college kids.

Visit the NCPA website and Instagram for updates throughout the weekend.
