Hillsborough County, FL released plans to spend nearly $2.8 million on parks to add 34 courts to the county. The courts will be spread across Higgenbotham, Progress Village, Springhead, Westwood Lake and Balm parks, as well as the North Lakes Sports Complex. This addition will give North Lakes 16 courts and allow it to host large-scale pickleball tournaments, bringing money back into the county.

With all of the courts going in near Tampa it’s just a matter of time before we get an episode of Tommy & Gronky live from a pickleball court.
