Jennifer Dawson completed the sweep yesterday. She won three national championships in three days. Dawson and Dayne Gingrich teamed up in mixed doubles and took gold. This was Gingrich’s second gold of the event. Dawson finished off the infamous triple crown and you have to be asking, how can I play like a national champion?

Jill Braverman will Play on Sunday

Braverman had an interesting road to the finals. She beat Mary Brascia in the winner’s bracket then again in the loser’s bracket. In her bronze medal match against Irina Tereschenko she had a one-game lead before Tereschenko withdrew from the match. These wins were enough to get her into the gold medal match. She will have a second chance to play Anna Leigh Waters after losing to Waters 11-6, 11-2 earlier in the day.

Tyson McGuffin wins Nationals Gold

Tyson McGuffin always shows out at Nationals and yesterday was no different. He beat JW Johnson twice to advance to the gold medal match. He was scheduled to meet Zane Navratil on Sunday to play for gold, but Navratil will need to be in New York on Sunday for another unrelated competition. This means McGuffin is the Men’s Pro Singles Nationals Champion! Congratulations Tyson, Zane and JW the 2021 medalists
