Register Now: Bounce’s Detroit Invitational

by Luke Burton on

Bounce, the leading app for open and tournament play, are bringing their game to the Motor City.

That's right, folks, re-grip your paddles, stretch those calves out, and get registered for the Detroit Invitational Pickleball Tournament.

The amateur showdown takes place November 10th to 12th at Court 4 in Detroit and is sponsored by locally-based companies, Revolin, Deep Eddy and FÜL Beverage.

What's at stake

This tournament isn't just about bragging rights; there's some serious cash on the line.

Winning teams get to walk away with a sweet $400 in their pockets, while finalists aren't left empty-handed either, with $100 to soften the blow of coming so close to glory. Hey, it's not exactly retirement money, but it's a start, right?

The format of the tournament is pretty straightforward:

  • round-robin with a guaranteed 5 games
  • followed by single elimination knockout
  • all round-robin games are done within a 3 hour period

Ryan Van Winkle, the co-founder and CEO of Bounce, is excited to bring a unique feel to the Detroit pickleball community and wants you to have fun, network, and maybe even make some dough on the side. Thanks, Ryan, we appreciate the hustle.

Oh, one more thing. Aside from the cash prizes, top-finishing teams walk away with Bounce paddles that grant you access to exclusive tournaments, events, and even tickets to professional pickleball tournaments.

This Detroit Invitational Pickleball Tournament is just the appetizer before Bounce serves up the main course – their first international amateur pickleball tour in 2024. So, consider this your warm-up.

Registration closes November 5th. Let's bounce, baby!
