From JOOLA’s first full-foam paddle to the Bread & Butter x Selkirk Loco 2, October is bringing some of the year’s most interesting new paddle tech
Happy October 1 – the first official day of spooky season and perennially a time of year when a lot of exciting new pickleball paddles hit the market.
This year is no exception.
There are six new paddles coming out from brands big and small that The Dink team is hyped about. New grit surfaces, new tech, and brand-new horizons for one of the most established brands in the sport.
And before you ask, because we know you're going to ask, yes: the majority of these come with a durable grit surface texture.
Watch the video below as our guy Nico the Lefty, co-host of the PicklePod, walks you through each one.
- Bread & Butter Loco 2 – the first joint release from Bread & Butter and Selkirk
- RPM Jade – the brand's first MPP paddle plus durable grit
- Enhance MPP Turbo – featuring the brand's ArmorGrit, still price around $100
- Gearbox Pressure X – the most technically advanced paddle on the list
- Holbrook Fuze VantaGrit – better control thanks to the new grit
- JOOLA POWER FX – their first foray into full-foam paddles
