Apple's 'The Dink' Pickleball Movie Sets a Summer Premiere Date
It's official: "The Dink" – the forthcoming pickleball movie with an absolutely killer name – is coming to Apple TV this summer.
In an Instagram post shared by the streaming network, they confirmed the news:
The Dink. Coming July 24 to Apple TV.
A new comedy movie starring Jake Johnson, Mary Steenburgen, Ed Harris, Andy Roddick, Patton Oswalt, Chloe Fineman, Chris Parnell and Aaron Chen, with Ben Stiller.

The film follows a washed-up tennis pro (Johnson) as he tries to save a club by reluctantly playing pickleball to earn his father's (Harris) respect. It's rated PG-13.
Tennis stars Andy Roddick and John McEnroe both reportedly make appearances as well.
We've yet to see a trailer for the movie. But one thing this update does provide is a glimpse at some of the paddles the stars will be swinging – a previous promo image showed Steenburgen holding a Selkirk Luxx; this latest photo reveals Johnson holding what is clearly a JOOLA MOD TA-15, the paddle long-since sunset from competitive play.
