Anna Leigh Waters Takes Us Behind the Scenes of Her Franklin Photo Shoot

Anna Leigh Waters just signed with Franklin, and she's taking fans behind the scenes of her first photo shoot.

In a new video on her YouTube channel, the pickleball star walks through the entire production, from the drive to the shoot location all the way through the final wrap.

It's a fun glimpse behind the curtain of one of the most consequential sponsorship deals in the history of pro pickleball.

A Full Production Day

The shoot wasn't a quick photo session. Waters and the Franklin team spent the day working through multiple looks, poses, and angles to capture content for the official announcement and beyond.

Waters even nailed a pose they refer to in the biz as, "the smolder."

The production crew had a clear vision from the start. They planned to keep camera angles tight, avoid big motion shots, and stage everything carefully so the final product would look polished and professional.

What Went Into the Shoot

• Hair and makeup prep with behind-the-scenes interviews happening simultaneously
• Multiple outfit changes, including an all-black fit for action shots on the court
• Posed photos with the paddle at different locations, including some with beautiful palm tree backdrops
• Video content for social media and launch assets
• AI model creation using the photos for future marketing materials

What's Next for ALW

Shortly after this shoot, of course, Waters went on to Triple Crown at PPA Masters, her debut tournament with her new Franklin paddle and head-to-toe Nike ensemble.
