Outsiders enjoy poking fun at our favorite sport, suggesting it's "not a sport" or it's "filled with a bunch of tennis wannabes" or simply, "it's for old people."

While we all know in the pickleball community that those premises are not accurate, this gentleman below working out at his gym isn't helping the cause.

While others at this fine workout establishment are working on extensions, weights and their phone skills, this one pickleballer is doing some sort of training that can only be explained as unique.

Is he swatting a fly? Does someone smell badly nearby him? We'll never know, but whatever he's doing, it got the attention of one gym goer. If you listen closely you can hear a giggle from the "videographer."

Maybe it's better to do this type of training in the comforts of home.
